Responsible for all managing relationships with 100+ existing accounts in Australia and New Zealand.  Liasing at Treasurer, Operations Manager and CFO level for tier two banks and corporate clients.  Also responsible for extending relationship through provision of new services, modules and systems to existing accounts.

Employed to develop general IT consulting team focused on Treasury and Investment Management operations.  Shortly after joining, moved into management roll for Treasury Products group.

1993 to 1995 – County Natwest Australia Investment Management Ltd
Front Office Development Manager.

Employed to build and manage the Front Office development team of six staff in producing internal solutions to business requirements. Advised and assisted in defining roles and procedures for new IT department.

1990 to 1993 – BIS Banking Systems (London).
Product Manager.

Initially employed as the marketing consultant for the Middle Office and Risk Management modules of Midas ABS. Promoted in September 1991 and given full responsibilities for managing the team of ten people developing the new Trader Support Module (OS/2 based). Marketing responsibilities were carried over with the promotion.

Marketing Responsibilities included;

  • Supporting sales and marketing effort world wide.
  • Building market perception of BIS as a credible supplier of Middle Office function.

Development Responsibilities included;

  • Specification of new function requirements.
  • Managing Development team in meeting goals and dead-lines.

1989 to 1990 – Towers, Perrin, Forster and Crosby, Inc.
Freelance Consultant

Employed on a short term contract basis, working within the Asset Consulting Services Division. This 6 Month Contract resulted in a new Survey production system and documentation of the survey production process. This allowed the freeing up of key staff from survey production activity.

Responsibilities included;

  • Documenting TPF&C’s Pooled Fund Survey procedures.
  • Developing Software system for Survey Production.

1987 to 1989 – Towers, Perrin, Forster and Crosby, Inc.

Following the acquisition of Clarity by Towers Perrin responsibilities included;

  • Continued development of treasury systems.
  • Consulting role to both external clients and other sections of Towers Perrin.
